Notify flies the nest!
Today we are excited to announce that our Smart Safety tool, Notify, has flown the nest! Control F1 was formed with a clear strategy to create and incubate innovative digital products. We envisaged that those products that proved to be viable, desirable and feasible would be spun out into dedicated and focused ventures. This is our “Golden Egg” model, and we are excited to announce that our first egg has officially hatched in the form of Notify Technology Ltd, whose vision is to create innovative technology that helps make workers safer and healthier, wherever they are in the world.
Notify Technology is being led by Duncan Davies, with Control F1's Andy Dumbell taking on the role of Chief Product Officer. The business will be headquartered in Newcastle-upon-Tyne, supported by a highly experienced commercial team. In the meantime, close ties remain with Control F1 and both ventures will continue to support each other in our journeys of business growth and innovation.
With immediate effect Carl Howarth will take on the CEO role at Control F1, having previously acted as CTO. Carl will be supported by a talented and loyal team based in Huddersfield. These changes allow us to focus our efforts on connected vehicle technologies, IoT developments and innovative digital solutions for our diverse and expanding customer base.
Carl Howarth commented:
"I am thrilled to see our strategy come to fruition and look forward to seeing Notify being taken forward by the excellent team in the North East. I'm certain it now has the right foundation to go from strength to strength. We have an exciting challenge here at Control F1 to further grow our presence in the telematics and connected vehicle space and provide leading-edge innovations to all our clients and prospects, whatever their industry"
Duncan Davies commented:
"We are excited to be given the opportunity to bring Notify to many more customers around the UK and beyond. We have ambitious plans for developing the product and building new modules. None of this would have been possible without the time and commitment of the dedicated team at Control F1 and we are looking forward to continuing to work together and benefit from some of their expertise around the Internet of Things and Big Data"
